That's it. I've been diagnosed. I have Heroes-Fangirl-itis.

You know, I really thought this would work. Not getting invested, not getting *too* attached. I thought I'd learned my lesson after Season 2. (Again, to clarify: I enjoyed Season 2. I really did. Some parts of it, very, very much indeed. But I wasn't careful enough, and let myself get too invested in the fandom, with some detrimental effects to my experience of watching the show.)

So I thought I'd back off. And I tried. And it seemed to work. I thought I was cured.

HA. HA HA HA HA HA.

It's been one day of good news, Heroes-wise. And I am posting three times on the same day.

But trust me. This latest piece of Casting News? So totally worth it. It's not a done deal yet, but if it comes through, you will hear my fangirl squee resonate around the world.

So, apparently, resistance is futile, and I find myself thinking and pondering and speculating about the tiniest little bit of spoilery Heroes info that comes my way. For those of you who are strong enough to go spoiler free, it's not really time to worry yet. There's nothing much there except vague hints and comments from the cast, and a couple of casting spoilers.

For those who are interested, there is an Access Hollywood Interview with some cast members here, with spoilery info.

I really don’t like Song for Ten as it appears on the soundtrack for series one and two. The extra verses and Neil Hannon’s voice just don’t work for me at all.

Guys, the first Preview Clip for Season 3 of Heroes just went up, here. This is NOT the NBC teaser trailer for Volume 3...it shows the cast filming. Not much in the way of spoilers, except for a little bit on Hiro's storyline.

I'm so torn. I'm trying to stay calm and rational about this season, and ease myself into it instead of burning out on fandom like I did last season (for the record, while I think Season 1 was better than Season 2, most of the reasons why I was unhappy with S2 had to do with fandom, rather than the show. The same thing happened for me with Bones in S2. Now I no longer venture into Bones fandom and my viewing experience is much improved.) But I can't help but get excited. Because it's Heroes. And the show OWNS MY SOUL.

As an aside, on Bones: I thought that a reason why I disliked the fandom so much in S2 was because the quality of the show itself was lower then. Season 3 has been fantastic so far, so I ventured back out into fandom after the last couple of eps. Not TWoP. I'm not crazy. Just LJ. And you know what? It was just as bad. It almost killed my squee over the last episode. So yeah, Fandom Hermit is probably the way to go with Bones.

 I think this might have been posted a few days ago, or in the very least it was mentioned. I'm sorry if it was but I couldn't find the original post.

Here is a link essentially saying that the CBC has not yet decided on whether or not they are going ahead with S4 of Who and S2 of Torchwood.

I'm wanting to keep my collection of Who DVDs uniform (yes, yes, I know that the contents are exactly the same, but still). Since I lived in the UK when I started my collection, and I now live in Canada, this poses a bit of a problem.

Anyone know of a good place to buy discounted classic Who DVDs *and* who will ship to Canada? Play.com looked great until I discovered they only deliver to the EU, and Amazon.co.uk wants to charge me another £1/$2 extra for every DVD I order, plus £3/$6 for the pleasure of ordering them, which makes them much less of a discount.

Am I just going to have to suck this rate up, or are there better deals out there?

I've considered using eBay, but I want to bulk order so that the shipping rate comes down per item.
